What comes to your mind when you think of candles? For me, it evokes countless childhood memories of stopping at the candle aisle every time we visited a store, lighting a candle whenever I prepared to study or read, and certainly after each time I cleaned my room. My enthusiasm for candles was further fueled by my parents, who also adored them. Fast forward to 2022, I decided to explore candle making myself—after all, I had already confirmed my love for them. Why not transform this passion, which brought me immense comfort, into a hobby?

As I began crafting various test candles, I invited others to try them and share their honest feedback. One of the first responses I received came from my Dad, who has since passed away. He adored the Cookie Cake candle, reminiscent of chocolate chip cookies, and often requested it. His inspiring feedback motivated me to pursue candlemaking further.

This journey has opened many doors for me: from completing my first fundraiser in 2023, to offering bulk wholesale options to local boutiques in 2024, to finishing my first candlemaking class in 2025, and finally, opening my first physical location in 2026. God is truly good and faithful. I am thrilled that this passion was placed in my heart, and I chose to step out in faith (Hebrews 11:1) rather than succumb to uncertainty.

I am incredibly grateful for the support from my husband, Micah Shiers, as well as my family, friends, and community. I look forward to utilizing one of the gifts the Lord has blessed me with to further His Kingdom.
